At Nerskogen, there are waymarked trails leading to Jøldalen valley, with summit trip destinations of varying lengths. Groomed ski trails are also prepared during the winter months.

Nerskogen is a great place from which to take day trips to Jøldalshytta cabin, both from Heldalen and Sørøyåsen.
Svartdalsetra and Rogogjerdsetra are active summer mountain farms and sell farm produce.

East of Granasjøen lake lies Barnas Naturverden, featuring short, well-adapted waymarked trails and open cabins suitable for overnight stays and families with children.
