Vindøldalen valley is well-suited for cycling. There is a waymarked trail to Trollheimshytta cabin, and many great summit trip destinations. For visitors who prefer a shorter hike, there is a waymarked trail to Breiskarstoilla, one of Trollheimen’s huge and ancient pine trees.

It is possible to purchase fishing permits for both the lakes in the area and for fishing in the Vindøla River. The idyllic Vindøla River has many beautiful swimming spots, in calm sections of the river as well as in pools and rapids, for those seeking a more adventurous swimming experience.
