After 4 km and approximately 1 hour of walking from Nerdalen, visitors will reach Renndølsetra and eventually Innerdalshytta cabin. Both are serviced tourist cabins that offer accommodation and food during the summer season. There is also the option for self-service accommodation and camping with access to toilets and showers.

Both of the tourist cabins in Innerdalen can be used as starting points for day trips in the area or as part of longer trips in Trollheimen and Innerdalen. A visit to Innerdalen from Nerdalen is also a popular day trip destination in itself.

Popular destinations for mountain hikers include Innerdalstårnet, Bjøråskaret, and Renndølskamman, while climbers often head to Skarfjellet.

Families with children often spend several days in Innerdalen, combining mountain hikes with the experience of life at the summer mountain farms!
