Resvatnet lake itself is also a great area for swimming and short trips in the surrounding area. Raudfjellet and Resfjellet are well-suited for several beautiful summit trips.

Close to the approach in Resdalen valley, at the foot of Resfjellet mountain, visitors will also find Norway’s first protected summer mountain farming village – Vålåskaret. This place is home to nine log-built farm buildings that are arranged in a row on a traditional farmyard. The farmstead offers stunning views over Trollheimen.
